This talk will highlight the use of several omics approaches in postharvest physiology and pathology. Several recent works will be summarized, describing results using genomes, epigenomes, transcriptomes, proteomes and metabolomes of diverse plants and diseases. The integration of multi-omics approaches will also be described. Challenges and perspectives opened by such methods will be discussed.
